If you find yourself staring at the closet trying to decide what to wear, and hope someone can help you make outfits out of your existing clothes, then this article is for you!
I share 8 simple tips that can help you create more clothes with the clothes you already have so that you no longer say that you have nothing to wear,
starts to enjoy your style more fun! with outfits
Build your garment around color
Don’t get caught up in thinking about fabrics, occasions, or shapes. Focus on color. This is the easiest way to put together an effective outfit. So, for example, if you have a skirt that you want to match with a set of clothes, take it to your closet, and then take out all the tops that match or complement the color of the skirt. Once you find them, start trying them on with your dress to your outfits.
Combine clothes you have never worn
- Try to combine clothes you have never worn. Don’t worry too much about whether they work together at this stage, just take them out of the closet and try them on.
- I know you will find new combinations!
- If you are a person who hangs clothes in your clothes, this will be a very worthwhile exercise, because hanging clothes in this way usually restrict the way you wear clothes.
Remove the label you gave the clothes
Don’t leave a piece of clothing in the closet because it is “too special” or “too random.” Remove these tags and let your clothes wear anytime, anywhere. Your favorite dresses saved for special occasions can wear sneakers and leather jackets on the weekend!
Those worn-out mom jeans you save to wear at home can be paired with a suit jacket and high heels!

Don’t leave clothes to the best
- Continue to the last point, don’t leave things to the best… What if the “best” never appears?
- It is shameful to spend money on things you like, but don’t use them!
- You make your own style rules.
- If you like something, use it.
- There is always a way to turn skirts into clothes.
- A cool skirt is combined with casual shoes, worn under it or on it, playing with accessories…
Try all possible combinations
This is really important. I don’t want you to exclude any combination until you try it!
Clothing looks completely different, there is a body inside, and there are many styling techniques (such as padding, beading, knotting, etc.) that can help two seemingly incompatible garments to blend perfectly. If you are still having intricacies, you may need to consult with a personal fashion stylist, They will figure a way to get away with this intricacy.
So let me say it again, don’t rule out any possibilities before you’ve tried it.
Don’t pressure yourself to create the perfect outfit
Some combinations don’t work, but it doesn’t matter. This is part of the creative process. I first created some scary looks and found some of my favorite looks. This exercise is an opportunity to try out a new look.
If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t matter, try again!

Use styling techniques to match your appearance
You can’t just put on clothes and expect them to match perfectly with outfits. Many times, you have to style them to make them feel good together. Knotting and folding are my two transition techniques. I often find that putting a shirt around my waist can make me and the shirt look better… as shown in the picture below. And be sure to play with the sleeves. Sometimes, simple cuffs will change the appearance and fit of the shirt.
Match every outfits
I know it’s tempting not to be disturbed, but at least you should add shoes to every outfit you try on. Shoes are an integral part of a piece of clothing. They play such an important role in the success of a garment that people may mistakenly believe that a look does not work, and all that is needed at this time is a pair of different shoes. In fact, I can guarantee that some of the clothes in your closet are not worn because you do not have the right shoes to wear.
When trying on clothes outfits, it is a good idea to have a few belts and necklaces on hand, as they can help reshape items that are not correct or deformed.
