Dhokla is a famous recipe in India and is eaten for breakfast in the state of Gujarat. If you also want to eat Dhokla, then here we are telling you the method of making Dhokla. After reading this recipe, no one will have to ask how to make Dhokla recipe. How is Dhokla made?

Dhokla Ingredients:

Sooji

2cup Sugar

1tbs Curd

1cup Eno

1pouch Mustard seeds

1/2tsp Oil

Hing

pinch Curry leaves

Salt-1tsp

Water-1 cup

Green coriander leaves for garnishing

Dhokla Recipe:

  • Mix sooji curd salt sugar and mix well with water and rest for 25 minutes .
  • Now divide the mixture into 3 parts For green colour- boil spinach leaves and grind into fine paste.
  • For orange colour- grind carrot and make paste.
  • Now all three colours are ready Now we will start assembling all layers Let’s start..
  • Divide sooji mix into 3 bowls add orange paste in one sooji part then mix green paste in another sooji bowl Third white sooji part remains as such.
  • Heat cooker with water in it .
  • place any round stand or bowl in it.
  • On top of stand place greased tin with green batter n it with eno mix at the time of steaming and steam for 5 min on medium heat with cooker lid close without whistle
  • After 5 min check with toothpick comes clean it is done .Now pour white batter and steam as same procedure as first layer.
  • Then at last pour orange batter steam for 10minutes and check with toothpick.
  • Now take out from cooker cool it demould it after complete cooling. Now its time for tempering it.
  • Heat oil in a pan ,crackle curry leaves split green chillies mustard seeds and pour on dhokhla Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
