5 Variation Of Spicy and Tasty Momo With Quick Recipe

Momo is Indo – Chinese recipe which are very easy to prepare, tasty, healthy and famous in India as a street food. Different variety of stuffing used in Momos.

1. Vegetable Stuffed Momos

Ingredients for Momos dough :

  • Maida (All purpose flour) – 2 cups(200 gram)
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – ½ tbsp.
  • Tepid water (Gunguna paani) – as required

Ingredients for Only Veg stuffing of Momos

  • Cabbage – 1 medium size (grated)
  • Carrots – 250 gram (grated)
  • Capsicum – 2 medium size (grated)
  • Onion – 2 medium size (grated)
  • Ginger, garlic, green chilli paste – 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tbsp.
  • Cumin and black pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – as required
  • Oil – 3 tbsp

Prepared Dough of Momos :

  • Take a bowl and add Maida, oil, salt and mixed gently with tepid water (Gunguna paani) and prepared dough.
  • Cover this dough and keep it separately for 1 hour.

Method of Prepared Veg stuffing of Momos

  • All the grated vegetables add in a bowl, add salt to and mix it.
  • Keep it separate about ½ hour.
  • Then after drain excess water of vegetables with cotton cloth or other way.
  • Next step, Take a pane, placed on gas, add oil and heat it.
  • Add ginger, garlic, green chilli paste fry till golden brown.
  • Again, add drain vegetables and fry it 2 minutes at high flame.
  • Add cumin and black pepper powder, garam masala, salt and mix well at high flame.
  • Then after, add soya sauce, chilli sauce and mix well with vegetables and off gas flame now.

How to make veg Momos ?

  • Divide the all dough in small pieces of same size.
  • Make ball of all pieces and keep on rolling board one by one with lightly dusted.
  • Roll the ball on rolling board into thin circle about 4-5 inch.
  • Take a round, well edge and place stuffing in the center.
  • Bring edges together and start fold into pleats and seal in the center.
  • Prepare rest of momos in the s way.
  • Stream Momos about 10 minutes at high to medium flame.

Serve hot veg Momos with red chilli Or garlic chutney. I like to share other different variety of stuffing here:

2. Soya bean stuffed Momos with vegetables

Ingredients for Soya bean with Veg stuffing Momos

  • Soya granules – 2 cup (boiled)
  • Cabbage – 1 cup (grated)
  • Carrots – 1 cup (grated)
  • Capsicum – 2 medium size (grated)
  • Onion – 2 medium size (grated)
  • Ginger, garlic, green chilli paste – 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tbsp.
  • Cumin and black pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – as required
  • Oil – 3 tbsp

Method of Prepared soya bean with Vegetables stuffing Momos

3. Paneer Stuffed Momos

Ingredients for Paneer Stuffing Momos

  • Paneer – 250 gram (chopped)
  • Cabbage, carrots, capsicum, bean – 1 cup (grated)
  • Onion – 2 medium size (grated)
  • Ginger, garlic, green chilli paste – 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tbsp.
  • Cumin and black pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – as required
  • Oil – 3 tbsp

4. Egg stuffed Momos

Ingredients for egg stuffing Momos

  • Egg – 4 pieces (boiled and grated)
  • Cabbage, carrots, capsicum, bean – 1 cup (grated)
  • Onion – 2 medium size (grated)
  • Ginger, garlic, green chilli paste – 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tbsp.
  • Cumin and black pepper powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt – as required
  • Oil – 3 tbsp

5. Chicken stuffed Momos

Ingredients for Chicken stuffing Momos

  • Boneless chicken – 2 cups (mince)
  • Onion – 2 medium size (grated)
  • Ginger, garlic, green chilli paste – 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tbsp.
  • Cumin and black pepper powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt – as required
  • Oil – 3 tbsp

Method of Prepared chicken stuffing Momos

  • Take a pane, placed on gas, add oil and heat it.
  • Add ginger, garlic, green chilli paste fry over ½ minute at low flame
  • Again, add onion and fry it 1 minute at medium flame
  • Now, add chicken in pane and fry it over 2 minutes at high flame.
  • Add cumin and black pepper powder, garam masala, salt and mix well at high flame.
  • Then after, add soy sauce and mix well with all together and off gas flame now.
