More Than 5000 Youth Members Of BJP Have Resigned From The Party Due To The Controversial Ban On The Scale Of Cattle For Slaughter Purpose
As per the North East Today, more than 5000 youth members of BJP have resigned from the party due to the controversial ban on the scale of cattle for slaughter purpose. This can be a very big set back for BJP, especially when the party is working very hard to establish itself in the North- Easther part of the country .
The new central government issued new rule on May 26 which state that the cattle traders will need to provide an understanding that the animals which are being sold out and used for slaughter . purpose will now be used only for one purpose and that will be agriculture.
We feel that prime minister slogan for BJP new central government “Sabka saath Sabka Vikas” is not happening in reality as many people have lost their live till now because of lowvigilanties .
Bashailang Khongwir, the general secretary of state BJP ,said to PTL;
“More people are expected to resign from the party in the coming days. Especially in the Gara Hills for their anti party activities”.
While on Tuesday ,The BJP state in-charge said, the claims of ban on beef by BJP in Meghalaya and held congress responsible for every blaims of wrong news for this.
Bernard Marak, the BJP leaders who quit the early 1st June said;
“The BJP is hurting sentinuents here on the beef issue. Tribal society has its own laws. The BJP is trying to push Hindustans”.
Declared that he would conduct a beef party on 10 of June at Eder Bari in Tura .
However in March only BJP . declared that beef will not be banned in the north -Eastern states of Meghalaya, Megaland and Mizoran and there is on chance of going hard on slaughter houses as it happened in UP considering the fact that beef is a regular .diet in these states.
All these states are very important for BJP as they have elections for next year . same others states except these few states also apposed on the order by central government but it seems as it the such states like Arunanchal Pradesh, West Bengal and Kerala but it seems as if the situation in Meghalaya is Irim for BJP in comparison to others states.
