The hyperlocal startup based out of Mumbai, Delhi & NCR will gift sweets, diyas, lights and rangoli to the families of delivery executives and security guards at residential societies across Mumbai, Delhi & NCR as a token of thanks for easing people’s lives during the pandemic
While the whole country was facing a crisis during the lockdown and is still fighting the pandemic, our frontline workers have been working day in and day out to ensure safety for all. Among these warriors, there are delivery executives of several companies such as Swiggy, Zomato, Dunzo, DHL, and many more along with residential security guards who stayed out at all times so that we didn’t have to.
They risked their lives to help people across cities – young and old – and helped them get through tough times with any kind of assistance they needed. The security guards did not only guard our societies but doubled up as delivery assistants for those who couldn’t get out of their homes – especially the elderly. To pay an ode to these superhumans, EYL has decided to light up their lives this Diwali.
The team led by young entrepreneurs Shashwat Bhatt and Jaymin Trivedi has decided to send across hampers to hundreds of delivery agents and guards across Mumbai, Delhi & NCR who work for various brands such as Swiggy, Dunzo, Zomato, and their own whom they call as ‘Knights’. These hampers will carry sweets, diyas, lights, rangoli, and stencils for their families as a token of thank you!
“Ease your life being a service provider itself realizes and appreciates the efforts of our watchmen and delivery partners like Swiggy, Zomato, and Donzo, etc for helping us survive this pandemic by providing pickups and drop services of the parcels. EYL would be sending across Diwali essentials to their families as a token of appreciation,” says EYL co-founder Jaymin Trivedi.
