Home Made Truffle Chocolate Cake Recipe By-Poornima Pandey

Who don’t like chocolates? Kids, girls, boys mens etc; chocolate is almost everyone’s favorite.Truffle Chocolate have been one of the delicious thing for many. When it comes to cakes, Truffle chocolate cakes wins the game over all others as it offers mix of chocolate and cake together. Any kind of party it may be, Truffle chocolate cake may be the perfect cake.

Truffle Ingredient:

 1 Chocolate sponge

 1 cup syrup

½ tsp rum

Truffle of 30 gms. Chocolate (as per your choice)

 2 tbsp. Amul cream (room temp)

 

Cake Sponge Ingredients: –

• 2 cups flour

• 1 tsp Baking powder

• 2 tsp sweet Baking soda 

• ½ cup + 1 tbsp. cocoa powder

• 1½ cups sugar

• 1 cup milk at room temp/curd

• 1 cup refined oil

• 2 tsp chocolate essence

• ½ cup bouing water 1tsp coffee

 

Truffle Chocolate Cake Recipe:

  • In a bowl sift and mix all the dry things. Whisk the dry things. Now mix oil, milk/curd add essence.
  • Whisk well. Add boiling water mixed with coffee. Pour in to 3 or 4 small tins and bake at 160c for 40-45 min.
  • Make truffle as per the recipe and allow it to come to room temp. if the consistency not thick, keep it in fridge for 15 20 mins.
  • Cut the cake into three slices. soak one slice with syrup mixed with rum. Apply truffle mixture on it. place another slice and repeat the process. place the final layer, soaked with syrup and cover with truffle mix.
  • Keep in freezer for 30 mins. heat the remaining truffle. mix
  • well and pour on the cake, Decorate as per choice.
