Travel with KOI and Get Celeb-like Photoshoot as a Gift

KOI has successfully merged travel, cuisine, experiences with photography – photographing their clients thr ough their explorations

Born during the lockdown, an experiences company called KOI was started by three friends in Kolkata. The trio is not only curating awe-inspiring journeys across India, but also making their traveller clients look like million bucks. This phenomenal new idea is changing the way you look back at your life. The world is calling them “The Memory Merchants”.

Not even three months old, KOI – a company that hasn’t even had the time to make themselves a logo, or a website has become a rage through social media and word of mouth. Founders Kounteya Sinha, Oiendrila Ray Kapur and Gagan Kapur have already taken their clients to curated holidays in Kashmir, Andaman, Bandipur and Kabini. They have for the first time ever successfully merged travel, cuisine, experiences with photography – photographing their guests through their explorations. And the pictures will make you drool.

What’s best – the entire photoshoot comes for free as a gift when you travel with KOI. Their incredible set of photographers – Abhishek Murmu, Rajendra Mohan Pandey, Nilayan Chatterjee, Sourav Pal Choudhury, Debmalya Das, Atrayee Das and Durlav Roychoudhury – work 24×7 – documenting the whole trip.

Guests are given a pen drive with their high definition superbly edited photos in a unique packaging on the final day of their trip. Their holidays have become very popular among women. Thanks to photographers that style and make them look and feel like supermodels.

As a company, KOI asks some serious questions like – Where have you been? Where are you now? Where do you want to be? Do you know what really matters to you? What do you remember of your life? What are your significant memories? Are they of the things you own or the experiences you have had?

KounteyaKOI in Bangla means Where?  elaborates “KOI isn’t a company. It’s a feeling – consciously create, experience and be a part of incredible memory making acts. Evenings that you will never forget. Experiences you will never abandon. They will stick to you”.

According to Oiendrila,  the world’s greatest mind scientist Carl Gustav Jung outlined an important feature of the personal unconscious called complexes. A complex is a collection of thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and memories that focus on a single concept. The more elements attached to the complex, the greater its influence on the individual. Says Ray,

“The company intends to create a basket of experiences for a person that collectively creates an everlasting memory. We are nothing without our memories. The act of living – far outweighing the act of the struggle of daily life. KOI will use food, places, people, towns, colours, walls, rainbows, roads, bends to create a memory that will make a person’s life worthwhile”.

Co-founder Gagan says “KOI is about being free – free from everything that holds you back from making a memory – to feeling something significant”.

KOI’s upcoming trips are up for grabs and the seats are filling fast – Kashmir, Ladakh, Sri Lanka, Andamans, Kaziranga among others. KOI has been taking travellers to some of the most exotic hotels in the country – from Khyber in Gulmarg to Lalit Palace in Srinagar, Serai Bandipur to Barefoot in the Andamans.

The company has also seen a massive demand from super luxurious properties across India for tie-ups.
