LiL'Goodness turns Secret Santa, brings yummy gifts of health for kids

The pandemic has played a real spoilsport this year. Especially for children, who have been forced to stay indoors, with no playtime and friends. To spread a little cheer around town, LiL’Goodness, a kids food & nutrition startup decided to turn Secret Santa for children of Pune.

On Christmas day, the LiL’Goodness team of young volunteers travelled around town to drop healthy chocolates outside the houses of children across the city. The goody bag carried ‘prebiotic’ chocolates for children. These chocolates help activate healthy bacteria in children’s stomach and improve absorption of essential minerals and vitamins, so as to improve immunity among kids and even adults.

“ We thought of the Secret Santa idea specifically for Pune because we felt the need to end 2020 on a note of Goodness, we all know how much joy these little surprises can bring to children or to all of us. So, why not share a little goodness of health as gifts everywhere? That too in the city of Pune that is the epicentre of hope for vaccination for a significant majority in India next year” Share Harshavardhan & Pariksha, founders of LiL’Goodness.

The LiL’Goodness team also played Secret Santa to the underprivileged children in the city. For this, the startup tied up with Gharte Orphanage, Bachpan Bachao Samiti. The team of volunteers and Santa distributed chocolates to the children and the entire staff to bring a little Christmas cheer at the orphanage.

Goodness is for everyone after all, as we enter 2021 on an optimistic note.
