Its not been long since Donald Trump has taken his presidential oath but he is constantly looking forward to show the world his ‘the very bold and don’t care’ attitude.

In another very concerning decision he is planning to work upon i.e. restriction n limitation on H-1B Visa, its has been understood that employees coming from different countries will have to face lots of difficulties n so the companies have to.

A legislation which has already been introduced in the US House of Representatives which is proposing to increase the minimum salary/remuneration from £60,000 to £130,000, if get passed will create a big blow in the world. This will force companies to hire foreign employees at a very higher cost from what they are offering today n intern they will end up having less employees from other countries under H-1B Visa.

Indian who are working mainly in IT industry and in some other industries in US are mostly their with this H1B Visa and now after hearing news on this to be or likely to be legislation, indian share market’s big IT players have shown unexpected downside rally. In fact companies like Wipro, Infosys etc put together have lost an average of more than 9%. In numbers, the loss is more than 33,000 crore. The fear of effect of decisions on H1B Visa can be easily seen n felt here.

However; the legislation also will give flexibilty for startups n for that they have kept aside 20% H1B visa to be allocated for those companies which are small/startups have 50 or fewer employees.

At this juncture, we can only wait and see that what will be the outcome of this whole scenario but employees who would still be offered job will have opportunity to get increase in their salary may be by more than 100% n this may look a positive call for few.
