Ok, now let’s meet this girl. This girl is from Chennai who has completed her engineering and like any other aspirants she also looked for job and joined TATA at Jamshedpur. While she was working, her mind was having totally different thoughts for her career.
A true example of persistence and a personality who never given up on her dreams is what made her one of the very successful entrepreneur of this so called fashion world. Yes, that’s right. She has got this idea of getting into the mode of having her own business through her cousin while she saw a Hollywood movie where she took this idea from. And the idea was to have her own high-end fashion rental startup to cover needs of those who actually want to wear great outfits but at lesser cost.
A girl just at the age of 24 became the sole founder of LibeRent, a true high-end fashion rental company. But that was not so easy and like many others even she has went through several ups and down to bring this idea on paper.
She started surveying herself in malls and at different places as to understand the need of this kind of venture. She even got kicked off from malls for surveying without permission and also got blocked by many over the facebook while she was just taking her little steps towards her big dream. Without having much money to invest, still she went with the idea the day she realized that yes this will work and opened her startup i.e. LibeRent.
She started tying up with dry cleaners and fashion designers where from she used to get her stuffs at wholesale rates. In starting she herself started delivering the outfits but that was only possible for Chennai but slowly as she expanded out of Chennai, she had her own supply chain system in place where in Bangalore they deliver in just 3 hours, in Hyderabad and Chennai in 12 hours and in Mumbai in 24 hours. Moreover they have their customized tailoring team too which can alter the outfit exactly to your fitting which push you more to try out them.
Yes, she has travelled this path alone but in 2016 when she was successful to get 2 angles on board, she hunted for a co-founder and now she is doing perfectly well while her company is growing an awesome growth of 30% MoM. Looks like, the idea of fashion rental will surely become the mainstream in next few years if this is what we can witness today.
