Wearing a loose helmet or tonight gloves will make the experience cumbersome for them.

Sometimes, a teen or kid lacrosse player can get injured despite taking the best precautions. In such cases, allow the player to heal completely before he /she can resume playing. It is also advisable to get the player checked well by a doctor if there is any pain or injury.

Checking the Fields

Sometimes, the teens and kids love to play lacrosse at the backyards of the house or neighborhood. There is nothing wrong with that but ensure the area or field is checked well before they can start playing! For example, examine the field for any broken object, debris or sharp objects lying on the ground. Also, check the goals at the end of each side to ensure they are safe.

What Else Can Be Done?

There are a few more things to check to ensure the kids/teens playing lacrosse stay safe.

You should ensure the young players do not use any jewelry or piercing when they play lacrosse. Doing so can lead to untoward injuries and mishaps. Also, encourage the players to warm up a little before they can start the game. This prepares its muscles for fast movements.

If the kids are playing lacrosse in summer days, they will get dehydrated soon. So, offer them drinking water or fruit juice from time to time.
